When you think of Portland, Oregon, what comes to mind? Breweries, Hipsters, Portlandia? Believe it or not, there is even more to Portland than craft breweries, man buns and sketch comedy – it is the headquarters to one of Jane Page Design Group's favorite specialty tile sources – Ann Sacks! JPDG was lucky enough to join the Ann Sacks team along with 13 other designers from all over the country to enjoy the VIP Ann Sacks Immersion Trip! The boutique Nines Hotel, beautiful Sokol Blosser Winery and the one of a kind Ann Sacks factory provided the perfect back drop to learn about the history of the Ann Sacks brand that started with a simple shopping trip to find the perfect Mexican wedding dress in 1980. Day 1 - The trip started with a champagne reception at the Ann Sacks Showroom in downtown Portland.
Day 2 – A full day at the Sokol Blosser Winery (https://sokolblosser.com/) complete with a roundtable discussion about trends and the future of the industry, a wine tasting and a fabulous meal provided by Hunt & Gather (http://www.huntandgathercatering.com/)
Day 3 – The trip ended with an amazing tour of the Ann Sacks Factory!!
