#textiletuesday Vs. Sweet Baby Girl Lundy

A daughter may outgrow your lap, but she will never outgrow your heart — or this fab room!

Incase you haven't heard, sweet baby girl Lundy, also known as Claire Elizabeth Lundquist, arrived on October 13th at 6:48 pm. If you have been keeping up with our designer blog then you know that we announced #sweetbabygirllundy would be coming October 31st (she decided to show up a little early) and we shared the inspiration for her nursery. Well, the nursery came to life and Claire couldn't be any happier. This room was a vision that came to life and is a space that is meant to inspire you — where feedings, sleep and playing are a joy.

First, the fabrics were chosen — a girly pink and white mini plaid cotton fabric was selected for the glider/rocker and ottoman. A white cotton fabric with pink embroidered bunnies, ducks and snails add a sweet youthful feminine look. Both fabrics are sophisticated enough for Claire to use for many years to come.

The paint color was chosen to break up the pink and white and happens to be one of Claire's mom's favorite colors. The etagere was an existing piece that was painted and placed to hold books, lamps and toys.

The quilt on the ottoman was lovingly made by Claire's grandmother, great grandmothers, cousins, great aunts and her mom.The gray and white rug, is a solution died material that will hold up to even a child's room but with a look suitable for any room in the home.

The art above the crib are two bible versus that were personally selected by Claire's mom and dad and the designs came from Etsy. The chest of drawers that is used for a changing station and the crib were purchased from Restoration Hardware.

These are all items purchased and fabricated right here in Houston.
