#Textile Tuesday – but wait, it’s Friday. Our brain is already on vacation!

A lot of families go on vacation for Memorial Day weekend and a lot of families stay home to relax and enjoy family get-togethers. It's all a matter of preference but having a fabulous outdoor space makes the thought of a good ole "staycation" all the more enticing.
Outdoor kitchens are a wonderful place to spend time with those you care about the most. JPDG's design approach considers the outdoors an extension of the home. Below are some of our favorite outdoor kitchens and we hope they inspire you.
Memorial Day Fact:
The original national celebration of Decoration Day took place on May 30, 1868. When Memorial Day became a federal holiday, it was given the floating date of the last Monday in May.

Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend. Celebrate by remembering and giving thanks to those who have sacrificed their lives while serving in America's Armed Forces. Jane Page Design Group will observe Memorial Day and our offices will close at noon on Friday and will resume to normal business hours on Tuesday, May 31st.
JPDG Designing for the Great Outdoors:

Some of the simplest designs make the biggest statements. Neutral colors mixed with natures texture are all this Outdoor Kitchen needed to become super fab!

Pizza or BBQ? You can have it all in this outdoor kitchen! A built-in pizza oven from Kalamazoo Gourmet sets this Outdoor Kitchen apart from the rest. But not even pizza can out-shine the striking Viking Grill with stainless steel grill burners and heavy-duty rotisserie that can easily handle any grilling challenge - from seared tuna fillets to 25-lb. smoked turkeys.

Lets take a quick trip poolside! A great way to add interest to any Outdoor space is by mixing the elements. Here we combined fire and water to create an interesting focal point for everyone to enjoy.

It's hard to compete with a beautiful lake view, but it can be done. This project is a prime example that showcases a victorious design where the view is almost as pretty as the Outdoor Kitchen... almost.

Custom stone tables were made for this Outdoor Kitchen, with coordinating rattan-looking swivel chairs. The ceiling was designed to make a statement, but also to make the space functional —fans for the hot summer nights and heaters for those cold winter days. You can enjoy this kitchen all year long!
