The designers worked with the client and architect from the start. Many decisions were made via e-mails, photos, and phone discussions. The designers met on-site with the contractor and/or architect several times during construction. Designers were involved from conception with involvement in the space planning, ceiling and stair designs, finish selections, etc. Designers designed all cabinetry both built-in and freestanding.

The designers were responsible for space planning, cabinet design, finish selections, lighting and furnishings in this space. Neoclassic detailing began with the incorporation of the decorative cabinet elements and was carried through the special finish and accessory selections. A subtle palette of tone on tone gold fabrics was selected to accent the delicately carved, silver leafted woodwork on the sofa and chairs. Black details were added for drama. A custom designed cocktail table of iron and antique mirror was constructd to fit the constints of the space. There is accent detailing of gold leaf and gloss black paint on the crown, cabinet and fireplace.
