Culinary Delight
Special details, such as the custom designed carved stone and stainless hood, and stone trimmed leaded and beveled glass window give elegance and interest to the space. The plaster finish walls, warm wood tones, and natural stone bar fade blend perfectly with the striking Juperana Bordeaux slab countertops. Special features include a baking center with pocketing doors, upper display niches with tongue and groove detail, decorative glass doors, a large bombe storage unit, and corbel and fluting details on the large center island.

Mountain Kitchen
The island is three levels the right end is 48” above finished floor, which conceals the clean-up area from the living area. All countertops are granite. Pocket doors to the left of the cook top shield the mixing area from view. This cabinet contains the food processor, mixer, etc. Also, all spices, mixing bowls, utensils and baking pans are stored in this area. The tambour door to the right of the cook top hides the “breakfast bar” which holds the toaster and
coffee maker.

This Kitchen was designed for a very active family of three, who enjoy entertaining friends and their large family at home. The designers were responsible for all space planning, cabinet and trim designs, finish specifications, lighting specifications, appliance selection, and furnishings.

A custom cabinet was designed to look like a piece of furniture in the Breakfast area. This cabinet was carefully designed to house the client’s collection of oversized Portuguese pottery as well as a television.
