The guest suite was transformed into the perfect space for the homeowners to enjoy their passion for movies and music. A rich neutral palette was selected to give the clients the high style look they desired. Paneled pilasters and a coordinating valence were designed to wrap the room. A motorized curtain, lighting and all AV components are operated by a touch screen remote. Motorized leather theater chairs have built in path lighting at the end of each row.
2005 ASID Award Winner Designed for a family of four who enjoy cooking and entertaining, this kitchen is a culinary delight! Along with all finishes, appliances, furniture features include a baking center with pocketing doors. Special consideration was given to the placement of island appliances and drawer dish storage so that the kitchen functioned will for the children.
2005 ASID Award Winner An architectural Deco gate inspired the design details in this space. Cloth panels in arched area enhance acoustics and surround sound. Behind the motorized screen drapery is a stage designed for the children and their musical instruments for concerts and recitals. Form glass “Deco” crown on three ceiling levels hand finished with gold leaf completes the look for entertaining in the Art Deco style.
2005 ASID Award Winner The Mediterranean style of this home called for rather larger scale furnishings. The heavy carved antique buffet was the inspiration for the design of this room. Complimenting it are the custom designed ten foot dining table and “Mexican Chippendale” chairs. Terra Cotta Venetian plaster walls provide a sophisticated backdrop for the art and furnishings. The wall sconces were custom designed to coordinate with the chandelier the client adored.
2005 ASID Award Winner The client requested an elegant formal powder room that would coordinate with the other formal entertaining areas of the home. The result: Wow! An etched glass lit panel separating the vanity and the toilet areas. The crackle cabinet finish, black granite floor and carved crystal bowl and faucet add to this exquisite space.
2005 ASID Award Winner The French inspired dining room incorporates rich fabrics and colors to create an elegant dinging experience. The rolled carvings of the dining chairs recalls the grandeur of Louis IV. The ornate medallion and overall trim detail was designed to establish the overall design style of the room and to incorporate the colors found in the rug and draperies.
2005 ASID Award Winner Bathing in Luxury! No detail was left out of this incredible bathroom. Included in this design is a warming drawer for towels, a TV hidden behind the mirror, custom etched designs in the stone, lights in the toe kicks, etched glass doors, and a custom designed fountain wall.
